The year moved fast - but we moved with it. We found rhythm in change, inspiration in each other, and proof that good things come from staying curious.
The final chapter unfolded at VRG GRL HQ. With December light outside and a moody palette inside, we toasted to the year that shaped us, to good company and everything to come.
Heavy draping softened every corner of the room, lit by candles en masse, setting the scene for an intimate, memorable night. Dressed in favourite pieces from our December collection - sheer, sequin, texture and lace - the space carried a sense of celebration, reflection and anticipation for what’s next.
On arrival, welcome cocktails were served in true VRG GRL style… Once inside, Dirty Martinis were stacked high atop a branded olive ice sculpture, with Negronis and Tommy’s Margaritas also flowing through the night. A special thank you to Patrón Tequila, NON, Lansdowne Wines and Zonzo Estate for generously keeping our glasses full.
As the night continued, Italian canapés and pasta moved throughout the room, conversation lingered and cocktails were refilled. The evening closed on a sweet note, with tiramisu and cocktail jellies for all.
A DJ carried the room into the late hours, while highlights of our year played as a backdrop, reminding us of the year that was. For those wanting a small reminder of a very good time, something a little more permanent followed - tattoos on the night by Alfred Street Tattoo.
We closed out the year right where we spent it - in the space that held late nights, bright mornings, quiet wins and loud laughs. A full-circle moment, wrapping up a year that shaped us.
Grateful. Grounded. Still on the edge.
