GARMENT TECHNICIAN

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Garment Technician to join the VRG GRL team. 


As the Garment Tech for VRG GRL exclusive product, you will be joining a group of passionate and skilled creatives in a time of high growth and lots of exciting new opportunities. 

This role will see you responsible for the fit and quality of VRG GRL designs. You will live and breathe creativity, have a solid understanding of garment specifications, and experience liaising with suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend fit sessions, provide technical knowledge, check finishes, measure samples and communicate fit comments with suppliers

  • Develop technical packs including size specifications, fit comments, grading rules and tolerances

  • Quality control of sample garments and bulk production. Communicate clear and detailed instructions to offshore manufacturers throughout the sampling and bulk process

  • Maintain fit, construction, and workmanship standards to ensure consistency across all factories

  • Approve bulk specification packs, ensuring all measurements are as per the approved fit sample

  • Approve shipment samples alongside the Production Team

  • Follow up on sample and bulk progress, ensuring all deadlines are met


About You:

  • Creative, open minded and adaptable to change 

  • You have 2+ years experience, working autonomously and within a team environment (eCommerce will be highly regarded)

  • You can work with the Adobe Creative Suite or excel 

  • You are detail focused and highly organized 

  • You have a proven track record of producing garments that are of high quality

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

We have a unique opportunity available for a Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team on a full time basis.

 

We’re looking for someone who is passionate, creative and lives and breathes all things Social Media to be the driving force behind our brand storytelling

 

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategise and schedule content across all social channels (including but not limited to) Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr and Pinterest, ensuring all content is in line with the VRG GRL brand guide, tone of voice and wider global marketing calendar.
  • Content planning, creation and copywriting.
  • Shoot and edit social content, mainly for Tiktok, Instagram stories and other channels on a fast turnaround.
  • Plan and execute social media initiatives to increase brand awareness.
  • Work with the team to devise social strategies to drive growth, engagement and sales.
  • Ideate and develop all video content required for social channels - understanding of external editing platforms required. 
  • Conceptualise and execute daily story series - ensuring content is on-brand and relevant to key campaigns. 
  • Ensure timely posting of all social content and product tags across various channels. 
  • Own all social reporting. Bringing insights to weekly meetings, suggesting content based on best-performing posts and current market trends. 
  • Monitor community management and respond to all blogger and UGC tags/ mentions across all social platforms.
  • Attendance at creative shoots to get content for all social channels (where necessary).
  • Regular market trend research.



About You:

  • You have a minimum of 1 year experience in a social media focused role, preferably working within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • You are a creative and passionate individual who lives and breathes all things social media. 
  • You have a strong sense of social trends, proactively bringing ideas for social posts to the table, with a focus on video-based content.
  • You have a strong understanding of the VRG GRL brand market positioning.
  • You are a go-getter who is happy to jump in and get things done. 
  • Strong copy-writer and storyteller who is ready to take our brand to the next level.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion industry. 
  • Proficient with CapCut/ external editing platforms
  • Experience using Asana & Later will be highly regarded

DIGITAL MARKETING & ADS COORDINATOR

We have a unique opportunity for a Digital Marketing & Ads Coordinator to join our Marketing team on a full time basis.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of our Paid Advertising channels including but not limited to Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Lead and support the implementation of our paid marketing strategies (test placement, creative and copy to build structure & strategy into our advertising)
  • Organise regular meetings with TikTok and Meta Account Managers to review and scale ad accounts
  • Ensure Meta & TikTok ad accounts contain relevant and engaging content 
  • Maximise ROAS and CPA by monitoring performance of ads daily
  • Monitor budgets of each campaign and overall ad spend 
  • Brief ad creative for promotions and collection launches to Graphic Design team using Asana
  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing team to continually revise and develop advertising strategies
  • Assist with the development and coordination of VRG GRL’s marketing calendar
  • Strategise and manage content across organic Facebook, Tumblr and Pinterest 
  • Update IG Shop using Meta Commerce Manager
  • Update Foursixty tagging daily
  • Assist PR & Influencer Manager with blogger orders, influencer insights and reporting 

 

About You:

  • You have a minimum of 1 year experience in paid advertising and social media, preferably working within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Related Field
  • You have strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • You are highly adaptable and are open to new ideas as VRG GRL explores new advertising markets
  • You have a strong understanding of the VRG GRL brand market positioning.
  • You are a go-getter who is happy to jump in and get things done. 
  • Experience using Canva, Foursixty, Asana & Later are not essential but will be highly regarded
