I love the silhouette and shape of this cape-style cardigan, however most inspo pictures and models I have seen it on have smaller busts than me (I am an AUS 14DD). I was expecting it not to be flattering on my figure for this reason and make me look bulky but GOD WAS I WRONG.
It fits boxy, but doesn't make me look 'plumper' (for lack of a better word :')) ) than I would like. It's the perfect length and not too cropped. This is something I have an issue with quite a bit being someone with a shorter torso. I work in a clinical hospital environment, and it has been the perfect little staple piece to keep a little warmer whilst still being bare below the elbow ;))
It definitely isn't a thick knit and is very elastic. But somehow still manages to keep me warm in the hospital with a linen dress or singlet underneath. And unbuttoning the first two buttons to show off some cheeky collarbone or your necklace of choice is just *chefs kiss* divine. But I definitely wouldn't risk machine washing it for fear of it stretching and loosing shape.
Contemplating purchasing the black now, but my wardrobe is already looking a bit too gothic...
