A little heavier than expected, in a good way, so it has nice flow when moving (rather than looking flimsy). I grabbed the 8 (I am a standard size 10) and it was big, I probably could have got a 6 and would still work.

At 5 foot 3 the dress was a bit longer on me than the model but I played with some small waist belts which help shorten the dress but also changed the vibe. I love that you can wear this over a crop and pants, slip dress or bathers. I will be able to wear this all year around due to its versatility. The win for me was that my daughter wanted a girl size version for herself!! Love love so excited to wear it
